Can I/we become a member even though I/we and/or my students am/are members are in another martial arts association?

Even interested persons and members of other organizations are welcome to apply for a membership in our organization at any time. All membership applications submitted will be thoroughly reviewed, verified and finally decided by our organization administration. Almost all membership applications submitted are approved. There may be, however, very few exemptions to this rule in the case of which no positive decision can be made. As fortunately such cases occur very rarely, it goes without saying that the applicants will be notified about the reasons justifying their refusal. The organization is not generally obliged to accept an application, albeit the organization undertakes to enable any martial artist, martial arts student, association, school and club with sound reputation and serious interest to be admitted to the organization.

How come that the membership-fees are so much more favourable compared to other equivalent organizations?

Mainly, the A.D.D.I. is a non-profit organization and thus intends to offer each martial arts student and martial artist, association, school and club to join and to organize themselves in an umbrella organization that not only represents the internal but also the external interests of its members. Another reason for the favourable fees is that the organization since the beginning of its existence has been relying on an extremely effective personnel and cost structure. This is reflected by the fact that all participants - ranging from the chairman and the officers to the diverse partners of the organization - are selflessly dedicated to their organizational work and neither receive any financial benefits nor profit-sharing bonuses by the organization’s finance administration, which is quite common elsewhere. All profits gained by the organization are invested in new products and projects for the members - after deduction of necessary procurements and payments.

What are the differences between the "Individual Membership" and "School/Club Membership"?

Two groups of membership types are distinguished:

 

Individual Life Time Member
Individual (Single) life time members, as the name suggests, are individuals who submit a membership application and become a member for her life time. In this context it is irrelevant, whether or not the individual member is already a member of another organization. Any natural person can apply for this form of membership.
 
School or Club member
Association, school or club membership, as the name suggests, is a membership only offered to associations, schools or sport clubs. Please note that we offer this type of membership only to schools and clubs with a residence in Europe. Such institutions register themselves and their members (independent of the number) as members of the organization. The association itself does not have to bear any membership costs for the actual admission and membership of the association, school or club. Instead, the association, school or club fee is commonly born by the community, in this case by the members registered by the school or club to the organization (overall fee). Therefore, the association, school or club themselves will not be charged any fees at all. The benefit for the school or club resulting from this is obvious. Even members who have been registered via their school or club as members to the organization will enjoy all benefits of an individual membership (even after having left the association, school or club) and thus can continue membership in the organization as individual members, if desired so.

How long does it take to process an application?

This definitely depends on the cooperation of the applicant during the processing of the application. If we have been sent the complete documents, it usually takes no more than 7 to 14 days from the moment of submission until the final admission and shipping of all membership documents (member passport, badges, certificates and so on).

What will be happend after the enrollment form has been sent?

You will automatically receive a confirmation and a copy of your application by email after submission. As soon as your application is been approved by our Secretary's office, you will be sent a personal letter of admission containing further details of your membership. At the point in time of reception of this personal letter of admission you (if applied as single member)be already considered officially approved and admitted member.

 

Important Notice: (if you applied as School/Club)

To accelerate the final processing of your important school/club application, we need your help too! Please make sure to send us the the follow required documents asap via email or fax as soon as you have received your personal application confirmation from our secretary's office.

 

1.) a copy of your last and highest grading in your promary Martial Arts Style which you teach in your school/club (copy of

     certificate & passport as well.

 

2.) your current or last examiner licence certificate or copy from passport who shown up this licence for the style in which

      you teach your students and like to renew with us. If you not have before a licence we will be decide after proof of your

      martial arts histrory.

 

As soon as we have received this two important documents, we will immediately start with the final processing of your membership application.

 

If you have applied for a membership as school/club (not applicable for single membership) you are kindly requested after reception of the membership confirmation (includes all below named documents) to return to us the following fully completed documents via email or fax:

 

- School/Club Students Registration Form
- Examiner & Instructor Licence Application Form 
- complete your member passports and instructor license order

 

After your submission of these documents for the final processing, we will you provided with an separate email containing the AMOOS-SYSTEM (Association-Member-Online-Order-System) in which you can place your personal order for your school/club. By anytime you be able to visit this system to get an personal impression or to familiarize with that by visit the main webpage.

 

Finally, you will be provided from us with the following Documents and Materials:
- Official Association Certificate of School/Club admission

- Terms of Reference and Regulations of the Organization
- Offical Examiner Licence with official License Card, Certificate and Passport entry

- Association Member-Passport with all entrys authentication of acquired Graduations
- Approval as Organization Instructor and Organization Examiner in the corresponding Type of Style/System
- Member-Passports for your Students, Badges and/or further Materials you haven chosen from AMOOS.
